Facebook page tied to Pakistan ban is down

This time we have a kind of good news for Facebook users in Pakistan. Pakistan has taken down the ban on Facebook a social-networking site.

In the retro-view Pakistan has banned the Facebook because of a page prompted “Everybody draw a Mohammed day“. An American cartoonist suggested to draw image of prophet to promote the free speech. All this happen on thursday and on very next day this page got disappeared. In the time-span of one day, this page has attracted thousands of users.

After all this mess, Pakistan put a ban on Facebook after an Islamic lawyer association in Lahore argued against the social-networking site.

Pakistan has said that this ban will be lifted from social-networking site, if the offending content will be removed.
