Feature Overview

The Nokia E52 smartphone comes in a choice of 2 colours, metal grey or a golden colour with an aluminum finish. There is a 2.4 inch screen on the E52 which uses 16 million colours and has a resolution 320 x 240 pixels. There are two options for the home screen, business or personal mode. There is a LED flash, 4 x digital zoom and auto focus to ensure you pictures are not blurred. The flash has several different modes, as well as On, Off you can also set the flash to automatic or Red Eye Reduction. Having the dedicated camera key makes you feel like you are using an ordinary digital camera and not a phone, you can take photos with one click. Once you get bored of these you can always download more but check the costings first. Other applications that stand out include Nokia Maps Application and a GPS Navigation with Compass ensuring you should never get lost as long as your battery does not flat! As you would expect from any smartphone there are several different ways to send messages on the E52. As well as sending text(SMS) and multimedia(MMS) messages you can also send instant messages by using Yahoo IM or windows MSN Live. These are virtually the same to use as you would use on your home computer except they have been built with mobile devices in mind. If you are around any hot spots then it may be worth switching to WI-FI® to connect to the internet via a local area network. Connecting to other devices from the Nokia E52 is easy using Bluetooth® as along as the other devices support this technology. If you need a wired connection then consider using the USB connection, its usually as simple as plug & play and high speed which is useful if you are transferring a lot of data.

The Nokia E52 is a quad band based handset meaning it will world virtually anywhere on the globe. HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) 900 & 2100 or sometimes referred to as 3.5G are featured on the Nokia E52. The Nokia E52 is a great smartphone, for sure there are better on the market but they also have a price tag to match, and we suspect the E52 will come in well under the like on the Nokia E75. Granted, the camera does not have a massive amount of megapixels, but this doesn’t mean the pictures will be bad quality as there are lots of camera features included here to ensure you pictures come out well.
